North Staffordshire GP Federation (NSGPF) is committed to achieving Net Zero emissions by 2040.
We recognise the significant impact that climate change has on the health and wellbeing of the patients and communities we serve across North Staffordshire. As an NHS-commissioned health organisation, we are proud to align with the NHS Net Zero ambition and to play our part in building
a greener, more sustainable healthcare system.
To achieve Net Zero, we will reduce our absolute greenhouse gas emissions in line with science-based targets (SBTs), targeting a minimum 90% reduction against our 2025/26 baseline. Any residual emissions will be neutralised through verified carbon offsets, including locally rooted
community tree planting programmes across Staffordshire.
